Shipping Policy

Damaged Goods and Missing Items

We partner with reputable freight carriers known for their reliability in delivering goods safely and on time. However, we recognize that damage can occur during transit. If your product arrives damaged, we will replace it. Please inspect your merchandise upon delivery and refuse any shipment that shows noticeable damage.

If you refuse delivery, please inform us so we can anticipate the return. For packages that appear slightly damaged, write "Package Damaged" when signing for the delivery.

All damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery, as we need to file claims with our freight carrier within this timeframe. To report any damage, please contact us. We will arrange for the freight carrier to pick up the damaged items and promptly send you a replacement. Our remedy for damaged or defective goods will be either replacement parts or a new item of the same model at no additional cost.

If you prefer not to receive replacement parts or a new model, you may return the item according to our 30-Day Return Policy.

For refused deliveries not covered under our Damaged Goods Policy, refunds will be issued for the original purchase price minus our actual shipping costs to and from your location, plus a 25% restocking fee.

Shipping Methods and Delivery Times

Sawtooth Supplies ships from multiple warehouses using various freight carriers based on your location. Orders containing products from different manufacturers may arrive in multiple shipments, as they may be shipped from different locations.

Customers receiving freight orders can expect our delivery agents to call ahead to schedule a delivery appointment. Generally, orders ship within 2-7 business days of the original order date, and are delivered within 6-10 business days. For specific shipping methods or estimated delivery times, please reach out to our customer service representatives.

Shipping Locations and Restrictions

Sawtooth Supplies currently ships to the contiguous 48 states of the U.S. Some shipping restrictions may apply to customers in remote areas or islands with limited access, including parts of the upper peninsula of Michigan and certain regions in Montana.

Backorder Shipping Policy

When you place an order for a product and are notified of a backorder for 1-2 months, we process your payment immediately using your credit card or PayPal account. This is to ensure that we can manage any delays in fulfillment and avoid the following:

  • Payment Information Delays: We want to prevent any shipment delays caused by changes to your payment information after your order is placed.
  • Fraud Prevention: This policy helps us guard against fraudulent orders that may involve false payment details.
  • Protection of Sensitive Information: By charging your payment up front, we reduce the exposure of your financial information and lower the risk of fraud.

This approach helps us minimize unnecessary delays, cancellations, and complications during the order process. It also allows us to manage costs effectively, which helps us maintain lower prices for you, our customer. Thank you for your understanding and patience with any backordered items.

If you’ve placed a backorder and wish to make changes, you can:

  1. Select a Replacement Product: If you’d like to choose a different product, feel free to browse our site for comparable items. You can place a new order, and then contact us right away so we can refund your original order.

  2. Cancel Your Backorder: If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we can cancel and refund it once we confirm cancellation with the manufacturer. To request a cancellation, simply email us at support@sawtoothsupplies.com. You can also ask about inventory availability so you can place a new order when the item is back in stock.

Cancelling a Backorder

You may cancel your backorder at any time before it ships and receive a full refund. If you cancel after 24 hours from order processing but before the item ships, a 3.5% transaction fee will apply.
